We want to welcome everyone to the new home that the Lord has been so faithful to provide for us.

Sometimes in the course of life, God orchestrates, or allows things to happen to better His purposes. He has taken what could have been a devastating event (the hacking, and subsequent deletion of the original boards that were hosted by Invisionfree), and made an enormous blessing out of it.

It is our prayer that you find something here that will be a blessing to you. Feel free to register, browse our forums, and be a participant in a community where you as an individual really do matter.

Our Server Rules


We are a group of people from all over the world who enjoy online gaming. We hope you enjoy playing on our servers, but we ask that you follow a few simple rules:

Rules:

You will be warned and then kicked or banned from our servers for the following offenses:

  • Accusing others of hacking (in other words, no hackuzations please)
  • Speaking languages other than English
  • Inactivity (staying on the server and not playing for lengthy periods)
  • Cursing (swearing) of any type for any reason
  • Intentional team killing "tking"
    (Even when friendly fire is turned off)
  • Name-calling or rude behavior
  • Poor Sportsmanship (including Corpse-Humping)
  • Bad-mouthing CoG or any other clan
  • Making fun of or bashing any religion
  • Bad or inappropriate login names
  • Hacking, Aimbotting or Glitching
  • Using a CoG tag if you are not a clan member
  • Recruiting for other clans on our servers
  • Not obeying a request made by a mod or clan member
  • Repeatedly breaking any of the rules listed here

Please follow all instructions given by CoG members and moderators when playing on our servers.

It is the sole discretion of the moderator or admin present to determine what actions needs to be taken in each different situation. Administrators and moderators have every right to kick or ban someone without warning in a situation where they feel it is necessary to remove a threat as quickly as possible.

Also, please be aware that our Administrators will, from time to time, show up on our servers under different non-tagged names to watch potential recruits and ensure everyone in a server is obeying our rules. Administrators reserve the right to use their powers while not tagged to take care of rule breakers. Please, whether there is a tagged member in the server or not, try to remain on your best behavior.

If you feel you were treated unfairly by an admin or moderator, please feel free to sign up on our forums and post in the Unban Requests section or PM an admin with your concerns.

SiteFormed in 2004 by CB, the }CoG{ Children of God clan has been one of the fastest growing clans on the internet. We are a Christian clan and although you're not required to be a Christian to join, we do have rules for those in the clan and for anyone who plays on our servers. It is our objective to provide a positive atmosphere for those who enjoy playing the Bungie Studios game, Halo. The clan is devoted to God and spreading His Word. We run several moderated servers. We welcome all who want to play on our servers, but do enforce our rules with clan members that act as moderators. If you are interested in joining our clan, please go to the forums. Sign up and make a post in the recruitment section, explaining a little bit about who you are and why you'd like to join }CoG{. You then need to be an active member of the forums with a minimum of 40 posts before recruitment and at least 30 days of time for us to get to know you and play with you on the servers. After this time, a recruiter will come to you and formally recruit you to the clan. This process may seem over-board, but it's important to us that every member be someone who can admirably represent not only the }CoG{ clan, but Jesus Christ, our Lord and it takes time for us to get to know you.
